Lasers in Endodontics is the first course of its kind to introduce all doctors interested in modern, practical and predictable endodontics to the cutting edge of laser technology.
The training introduces participants to the world of laser endodontics step by step, through the adequate preparation and disinfection of the canal system using different lasers. It presents the state-of-the-art canal disinfection methods, which give the possibility to achieve predictable results and minimise the risk of complications associated with endodontic treatment.
The workshop part of the course consolidates the acquired theoretical knowledge through practical exercises using the most modern methods, tools and equipment currently applied in root canal treatment.
All procedures are performed using microscopes and diode and erbium lasers to give a comprehensive view of the possibilities of modern endodontics.
Marta Maciak, PhD, DDS
Graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok. In 2007 she achieved the specialisation in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. In the years 2004-2009 she worked as an assistant in the Department of Conservative Dentistry of the Medical University in Białystok, and in 2009 she obtained the title of doctor of philosophy in medical sciences. In 2019, she received the title of Aesthetic Medicine Specialist, Certificate of International Fellowship Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) and Professional Diploma in Advanced Laser Dentistry (BAIRD)
President of the Academy of Laser Dentistry Study Club Poland, a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), president of Aesthetic American Association (AMEERIA Poland).
A member of the scientific council of PREVEENTION and SJCMDS (South-Asian Journal of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery). Also, she is the author of many publications. Since 2005, he has lectured and practical training for dentists in Poland and the world in the field of endodontics and aesthetic dentistry and laser medicine.
As a participant and lecturer, she participated in many postgraduate workshops and conferences in the field of aesthetic dentistry, prosthetics, implantology and periodontics, maxillofacial surgery, as well in aesthetic medicine and cosmetology. She performs endodontic treatments at a very high level using a microscope, the newest rotaries, SAF and lasers, following the principles of Evidenced-based dentistry (EBD). She has clinical experience in the use of lasers in diagnostics, root canal treatment, periodontics, surgery and aesthetic medicine.
